Silver Creek College Foundation

Silver Creek College Foundation is an educational foundation. While the foundation continues to support its original goal of founding a college based on its principles, it has expanded its mission to strengthen other colleges. Its objectives are to develop students into leaders grounded in the values of Virtue, Service, and Wisdom. It affirms the central role of faith in learning—circumscribing and augmenting the pursuit of all knowledge. It supports liberal arts curriculum based on the educational writings of the Prophet Joseph Smith, Jr. It emphasizes applied learning opportunities like service learning, internships, and field studies to facilitate students seeing the connections between learning and work. Aligning with its motto, “To fulfill the measure of our creation,” the foundation fosters students’ development to achieve their potential. At this time, it is interacting with college administrators and boards, developing and sharing thought leadership, and promoting scholarship opportunities.
